The PRO F4 bronze security plate for wooden or metal doors is a common method for enhancing the security of existing doors. It is cost-effective, easy to install, and protects against one of the most common methods of break-ins—cylinder snapping. A door with a cylinder sticking out of the plate (every wooden door due to the thin outer rebate) opens silently by breaking the cylinder in just a few seconds! With the security plate PRO, the cylinder does not stick out of the plate due to its thickness of 15 millimeters, which is twice as much as a regular plate, and it is reinforced with a steel plate. The plate is also impossible to unscrew or forcefully remove from the outside to get to the cylinder, because it is attached with screws through the door to the inner receiving plate.
This security plate set comes in combination with an external fixed handle that prevents opening without a key (a lock with a lifter is required), and this set is mainly used for entrance doors to rooms or spaces where access without a key is restricted.
The PRO F4 bronze security plate is suitable for mounting on both left and right doors. It is available in several different colors and as either a handle-handle e or knob-handle.
