The PRO black security plate with handle-handle for wooden or metal doors is a common and cost-effective method to enhance the security of existing doors. It is easy to install and protects against the most common method of break-ins, which is cylinder snapping. A door with a cylinder sticking out of the plate (every wooden door due to the thin outer rebate) opens silently by breaking the cylinder in just a few seconds! With the PRO security plate, the cylinder does not protrude beyond the plate due to its thickness of 15 millimeters, which is twice as thick as a standard plate. It is reinforced with a steel plate for added strength. The plate is also impossible to saw off or forcefully remove from the outside to get to the cylinder, because it is attached with screws through the door to the inner receiving plate.
